JUNE   2008 Photo  (Above Photo taken from a 9/11Truth Strategy Session - 45 to 50 in attendance during meeting from 1 to 6 pm.  2 films were screened.    911TruthLA is pleased to announced that we have raised over $11,800 for the NYC 9/11 Ballot Initiative!  

 

• Who are we?  Our mission statement?  We are a group of Los Angeles area activists committed to local and global activism calling for a new, international  and truly independent investigation into the agents, causality and events surrounding September 11, 2001. 

 

• When? Generally, 911TruthLA  meets on the first Saturday  of the Month. 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.    This is our main monthly meetings.  We have other meetings/activities also. 

 

• WHERE? The Unurban Café, by Pico and 33rd / at 3301 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica .   See 'About Us/Map; tab for details and map. 

 

• WHAT?  Refreshments, films, policy & events analysis, discussions about local and national 911Truth actions.   Economic and Geopolitical developments.

 

In addition to our primary monthly meetings, 911TruthLA engages in  regular activist political lobbying and visibility/outreach actions.  

 

We are  also now  planning for a major fall Deep Power Analysis/Truth Revolution conference.  We have lined up major keynote speakers and are looking to build on these commitments with other speakers.

Regular Ongoing Visibility & Outreach Actions :

Sunday Tabling . 911TruthLA holds regular Sunday weekly antiwar/Truth visibility and outreach actions at the Santa Monica Third Street Promenade and/or at UCLA/USC.  Tablins is generally every Sunday of the month by 3rd Street and Arizona. 4 pm to 8 pm.  In advance, please -- before going -- call Kyle Petlock at (310) 893-9762 to confirm and to obtain exact times/location.

A party & screening of the outstanding drama documentary "The Reflecting Pool" which challenges the official version of 9/11 by a Russian-America journalist and father of a 9/11 victim. 911TruthLA will also hold its regular monthly meeting with refreshments. We will discuss local outreach strategies, events and planning for 911TruthLA's September 11, 2008 memorial event with former presidential candidate Dr. Bob Bowman, Edward Griffin, and others at Immanuel Presbyterian. 1 PM. to 5 PM.  Randy and Kyle will update the group on August's tabling and outreach efforts, the results of the August 16th protest at a joint McCain & Obama appearance, as well as upcoming freeway blogging efforts. Finally, we will make final teams andarrangements for our upcoming Sept. 11th, 2008 Memorial.

 

Again, please arrive on time. 
We will start the film promptly at 1 pm.

LAST MONTH: July 5TH (1-5pm)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FILM DETAILS: "Improbable Collapse" is the first film to look at the events of September 11, 2001 from a civil engineering and scientific perspective.  Using photo and video footage as well as expert scientific testimony, the film thoroughly deconstructs the official reports, while raising a more plausible hypothesis. The findings from these scientific experts have been quietly ignored by both government investigations and the mainstream media. The NY WTC Twin Towers disintegrated in a manner that scientists say resembled deliberately calculated implosions. At 5:20 p.m. that same day another building, the 47-story WTC 7, completely collapsed within 70 feet of its footprint in 6.6 seconds, although it was not hit by an airplane. These three buildings became the first steel structures ever to allegedly suffer complete collapse due to fire damage.
